In the midst of my winter blues I’m slowly working through the many photographs I’ve taken but not yet processed over the past year(s). This post contains a small selection of the pictures I took on a hike to the Eisenerzer Reichenstein<\/em><\/a> in August 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About these Photographs<\/h3>\n\n\n

The pictures below are best viewed on a calibrated screen (there will be a post on that soon). To show them on this website I have to convert the pictures from the RAW format to another format, in this case JPG. In the process there is a loss of image quality. Perhaps more importantly, though, I also downscaled them so they load relatively quickly. So if you're using a large screen then they may look a bit blurry. I'm not sure if it would be better to keep them at a higher resolution at the expense of slower loading. What do you think?<\/p>

You can click on any picture to increase its size. The left and right arrow keys can be used to navigate through the pictures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, I try to edit landscapes, like those shown below, as little as possible. If I do edit them then it’s so they better reflect how I remember the moment, no more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
